Job Description:  Deputy Water Clerk/Office Professional

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:

The Village of Caldwell, Ohio will be accepting resumes for a part-time position with the possibility of full time, at a later date. The ability to professionally engage the public and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, operation of office equipment including calculator, copier, fax, and a phone system with multiple lines are desired skills.

Duties include, but are not limited to, working in the Water Clerk’s office handling daily recipes billing data, payroll, cemetery records, booking reservations for the pavilion, issuing fishing/boating licenses for Caldwell Reservoir.  Additionally assisting the mayor, village administrator, treasure, village council, and village employees of all departments with office related duties.  The ability to write and speak professionally are a must. This position will assist the village with grant writing, initiation and completion of documents related to village business.  

Experience in finance, accounting, business administration, Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook 365, preferred.

The schedule being offered is, Monday through Friday, 24 to 32 hours weekly, mostly covering the mid-day timeframe.

Pay starting $ 15.62 hourly
