Don’t underestimate extreme heat. If you need a cooling center, Hocking Athens Perry Community Action in Glouster and the Athens Community Center are open during business hours as cooling stations. Big box stores are an option as well. Check with your local fire department also or ask friends or family.
(Currently, local fire departments that can provide cooling stations are Amesville, Jacksonville, Waterloo and York VFD's.)
