This November, KPD employees will again be raising funds and awareness for men's health.
We are passionate about the Movember & men's health movement because it is tackling some of the most significant health issues faced by men.
KPD male employees have been growing facial hair along with giving a $25 donation towards this great cause during the months of November & December. Female officers have permission to put a blue streak in their hair for the same donation amount and dispatch will continue to wear cancer themed shirts along with jeans for a $20 donation for the month of November the same as they did in October.
Proceeds from both our SKG Breast Cancer awareness campaign & KPD's Men's Health Initiative No Shave November campaign will go to help local men & women fighting cancer in memory & in honor of Officer Susan K. Graves , Detective Ray Stein and many loved ones that we here at KPD have lost to this horrible disease.
If you are interested in donating money to this great cause you may drop off your donation at KPD. Checks can be made out to the Kent Police & Citizens Assocation (KPCA) . Please make sure to write CANCER FUND in the memo line.
We're in this together, so get involved and spread the word.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
