Putnam County Health Department Columbus Public Health and Franklin County Public Health are investigating a measles outbreak in a local child care facility

Columbus Public Health and Franklin County Public Health are investigating a measles outbreak in a local child care facility. Currently, there are four cases, all in unvaccinated children without travel. 

-Measles is a very contagious and serious illness. The MMR vaccine is safe and highly effective at preventing measles.

-Call PCHD with questions on the MMR vaccine or to schedule an appointment at 419-523-5608
