Quincy E. Pope Sr. 

City of Trotwood's City Manager, Mr. Quincy E. Pope Sr. is a trailblazer in many capacities. Mr. Pope holds several post-secondary degrees and credentials including, a Master of Public Administration from Wright St. University, a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice Administration, an Associate's degree in Political Science, a graduate of the Ohio Police executive leadership college, and a graduate of the executive leadership program at Harvard University Kennedy School. Mr. Pope is one of 34 International City Management Association Credentialed manager's in Ohio! Mr. Pope's commitments with the city of Trotwood date back to his service in the Police Department where he worked his way up to being the first African-American to be promoted to police sergeant and by 2008, became the first African-American Police Chief! Mr. Pope served Trotwood as Police Chief from through 2012 where he was promoted to Deputy City Manager and Public Safety Director through May of 2015. By March 2016, Mr. Pope was unanimously voted to serve the city of Trotwood as the City Manager; he continues to grow Trotwood and has lead the charge for further development and investment here!
