Congressman Bill Johnson (R-Marietta) has congratulated Mike Johnson of Louisiana on being elected as the next Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives. In a statement, Johnson expressed confidence in Johnson's ability to lead and unite their conference moving forward.

Johnson emphasized the importance of focusing on the work at hand and moving beyond personal vendettas. He stated, "We've got a lot of work to do in the next few weeks, and it's way past time to move beyond the petty complaints and personal vendettas of a few of our members, and get back to doing the job the American people sent us here to do."

Johnson highlighted several key issues that need attention, including government funding, government spending, inflation, border security, and oversight of the Biden administration. He emphasized the need to address skyrocketing inflation that is affecting all Americans and to continue pushing the Biden administration to secure the southern border and enforce immigration law.

Furthermore, Johnson emphasized the importance of fixing the porous and dangerous southern border, stating, "We must fix our porous and dangerous southern border." He also called for continued diligence in oversight of the Biden administration and the evidence of corruption that is accumulating.

In conclusion, Johnson rallied his colleagues, saying, "Let's go!"
